St. Therese
Vocation Society

St. Thérèse of Lisieux has captured hearts the world over because of her “little way” of confident love. Although she was a cloistered nun that only lived to the age of 24, her love was so far-reaching that she has been distinguished as a patron of all vocations and also a patron of missionaries. She lived a “vocation to love” that interceded for others through both her prayer and daily sacrifices.

Love is at the heart of the Church and love is at the heart of every vocation. Would you consider becoming such an intercessor of love like St. Therese? Like her, you can lift up the Church in the course of your daily life through your prayer and sacrifices.

The interdependence of all Christian vocations is manifest in the St. Therese Vocation Society as married and single lay persons pray with and for priests, religious and seminarians for an increase of vocations.

Members keep particular focus on prayers for the perseverance of those in formation at our seminaries and religious communities and for the holiness of those already professed and ordained. With St. Therese we can share great confidence in the boundless mercy of God, trusting that he will provide richly for his vineyard.

By completing the form below, you will be officially enrolled as a member of the St. Therese Vocation Society. There are no dues or meetings, only the promise of your prayers. We'll send you a copy of this year's prayer calendar as a reminder of your commitment to prayer. You can use some of the prayers found to the right in your prayer as well!

With your prayerful support we look forward to an increase in numbers and devotion of those who are willing to dedicate their lives completely to the service of the Lord and his Church.
