Austin-Area High School Discernment Dinner

  • St. William Parish Rectory 620 Round Rock West Drive Round Rock, TX, 78681 United States (map)
The persistence of a call is one of the sure signs of a true vocation, and persistence can only be measured over time.
— Fr. George Elliott, Discernment Dos and Don’ts

Have you ever found yourself with a deep longing for something more than what this world is offering? If so, that’s great! That is exactly how we have been made. That’s right, you have been made for more! This discernment dinner series is an opportunity for you to meet other young men who are searching for ways in which to pursue the greatness for which you have been created. Each month, we’ll gather as a brotherhood to share a meal, pray with and for one another and explore a chapter of the book Discernment Do’s and Don’ts by Fr. George Elliott. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to dinner each month! There will always be a seat at the table and a copy of the book for you!

There is no cost for this event.

Our dinners are hosted through the generosity of many volunteers. Please help us get an accurate count of guests so we can honor the work and efforts of these volunteers. Thanks!

Note to Parents: By allowing your son to attend our discernment dinners, you grant Austin Vocations (an office of the Diocese of Austin) permission to (1) photograph and video tape your son during the event; and (2) use the photographs and video tapes in publications and promotions of St. William Parish and the diocese, including but not limited to publications such as websites, newsletters, advertisements, scrapbooks, and yearbooks.
