Men's Discernment Dinner

  • Borromeo Discernment House 905B Duncan Lane Austin, TX, 78705 United States (map)

Have you ever found yourself with a deep longing for something more than what this world is offering? If so, that’s great! That is exactly how we have been made. That’s right, you have been made for more! This discernment dinner series is an opportunity for you to meet other young men who are searching for ways in which to pursue the greatness for which they have been created. Each month, we’ll gather as a brotherhood to share a meal, pray with and for one another and explore a variety of aspects of discernment. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to dinner each month! We’ll always have a seat at the table for you!

This Month’s Topic:

We’ll look at how Jesus spoke of himself as the Bridegroom of the Church—in other words, how he saw himself as a husband giving his life out of love for his bride. We’ll see how each man is called to live his sexual identity as a gift of himself, and specifically how priests live out their identity as chaste spouses of the Church.

Cost

There is no cost for this event.
