Inspired by the early years of St. John Paul II’s ministry, our annual kayak trip is an opportunity for young men (18-35 years old) who are discerning their vocation, to persevere in that discernment but with a greater sense of community. One of the surest ways to build community is through a common experience such as learning from a brother (or teaching a brother) how to kayak or jumping into the cool water from a rope swing. The community we’ve seen come from this trip is one that can last great distances and time.
We’ll kickoff the day at 7 a.m. with adoration, morning prayer and breakfast tacos before we head out to Texas Rowing Center. After a couple of hours on Lady Bird Lake, we’ll come back to the Borromeo House for Mass and lunch.
There is no cost for this trip.
Online registration for the kayak trip is now closed. The deadline to register was Thursday, June 20. If you would still like to join us, please contact Adrian.
